Asheville is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Asheville is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Lovely dinner last night with exceptional service for our large group. We had a private room and were able to enjoy our time together without worry of bothering other patrons. The food was outstanding from the very first crostini to the locally-sourced entrees and delightfully rich desserts. We had one server but he had support from many more staff members and it made for a very enjoyable evening!

Corner Kitchen was a fantastic spot for brunch and made our group dining experience incredibly easy. We had a reservation for eight people, and when we arrived, our table was already set up and waiting for us. Everything was well organized, and the staff was prompt and attentive throughout our meal. One of the coolest parts of the experience was learning that we were seated at the same table where Michelle and Barack Obama once dined. There was a plaque at the table commemorating their visit, which made for a fun and memorable touch. The brunch was excellent. Our group ordered a wide variety of dishes, so we were able to sample a little bit of everything, and every meal looked and tasted great. Best of all, not a single person had a complaint, which is impressive with a group of eight! Between the welcoming service, delicious food, and unique bit of history, Corner Kitchen is definitely worth a visit if you’re in Asheville. I’d happily come back for another brunch.

Inviting and relaxed, spot on. Our first visit and we will certainly return. The staff were very friendly and our waitress knew the menu inside/out. Chose the pork chop and trout. Both delicious. The panzanella salad was very tasty. Try the bread pudding for dessert, can’t miss. Good eats and a great vibe. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing anniversary dinner here! So glad they're back up and running, one of my favorite restaurants of all time. This meal I got the filet mignon and their fried green tomato special. Incredible! I had my 21st birthday party here many moons ago and they've always had the best, friendliest service.

Was wonderful going back to Corner Kitchen for the first time since they’ve reopened. First, I will say they did an excellent job with the renovation. The bar has been moved and they’ve created a much larger dining area. In addition, they have an outdoor area that has been beautifully designed. We split the country ham charcuterie. It was prepared with just the right amount of each of the items. For dinner, we had the butchers cut steak, perfectly prepared, with fingerling potatoes, and asparagus. Service was excellent. Our waiter and all of the other staff were as always top-notch. Incredibly grateful that the owners of corner kitchen have rebuilt and reopened. They are serving as a cornerstone for the redevelopment and reopening of all the Biltmore Village. It’s wonderful to see so many shops and other businesses already reopened or in the process.
